Candace Glewen was Youth and Family Alternatives’ Board of Directors Chairwoman. She was a tremendous leader to YFA and a dedicated RAP River Run committee volunteer. An advocate for children. Children & family lives have changed because of her selfless service. Candace was an integral part of our success. She made sure we always got our goodie bags from MidFlorida Credit Union where she worked. Candace contributed so much to so many in our community. We believe it is only appropriate that RAP River Run honors her and carries on her memory.
about the race
RAP RIVER RUN
We are excited to be back and bringing all the fun, great awards and one of the best races in the area. We’re excited to announce we are keeping our Registration Fees unchanged. We want you to be able to bring out the entire family. While at the same time, we still give you the best race experience, awards and fun.
As always, RAP River Run benefits YFA’s RAP House located in New Port Richey serving youths ages 10-17 who are runaway, homeless or in need of a short- term out of home respite placement for any reason. The RAP House also accepts youth who are in need of an emergency shelter placement due to abuse.
